Neue Weltmeister im Roboter-Fußball

Die 8. Fußballweltmeisterschaft für Roboter, der Robocup2004 ist gestern Abend beendet worden. Insgesamt 346 Teams aus 37 Ländern mit 1600 Teilnehmern traten in den Disziplinen Fußball, Rescue und Junior gegeneinander an. Diese Zahl stellt einen neuen Teilnehmerrekord in der Geschichte des Robocup dar.

Wissenschaftler von Universitäten und Forschungseinrichtungen aus der ganzen Welt nehmen an dieser zweitägigen Veranstaltung teil und werden die Innovationen im Bereich der Roboter im Allgemeinen und dem Robocup im Besonderen überprüfen und diskutieren.
